My Last Week Was 'SEW'full!!

I have had an itch for quiet a while now that I haven't been able to scratch....a sewing itch!! But I wasn't going to scratch it until I had tidied and sorted through my craft area of the house...and with that done the week before last, I unleashed the machine and actually went 'SEW' crazy!loL!!

Here is what I created last week....with more to come this week!

The First dress in 8yrs!! (I shared a post on this one last week!)

The 'Princess' tutu!! So fun and soooo easy!!
A bit of Christmas Grinch-y-ness with a bunting
and matching bib (another first!!)....made my own template and all! ;)

My obsession with babushka's continued (hasn't ever stopped really!lol!)
when I found this Christmas material....now a bunting hanging near our front door!

Little Christmas rattle sofies...presents for some of the younger kids we buy for
and also for the Wishing Tree :)
"SEW" they were my sewing adventures last week, with more on the cards this week...but I did find some time yesterday to put together two new Christmas Prints!! :) I have a soft spot for this one and would love to share it with you!!! So read on ;)

I will be giving one lucky person one of these prints in the 4x6 size, just to share the Christmas cheer!! All you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post telling me what your favourite thing about Christmas is and I'll draw a random winner on Thrusday night at 8pm (VIC time)!!

  3. My favourite thing about Christmas is the whole day - we create a bubble around us.
Christmas Day we have people all wanting us to visit - or drop in - but it's a day where we go by our own routines - on our own.
Dad has his phone off work stuff (only day of the year), we get woken up at an ungodly hour by the kids, open presents, make a yummy breakfast and then it's usually a lay down for mum and dad - the kids happy to play with their pressies.
Mid morning, we discover all the 'cool things' their pressies can do and then get lunch out.
We hang out - jump in the pool, call family, chill. Wander around the house and spend some one on one time with the kids. Then it's usually a movie with some delicious treat we've created and sit back feeling totally spoilt.
    For our family, time stops.
One day - we'll get back into big family get togethers, but for now we are enjoying our little oasis once a year.

  4. My favourite thing is seeing my kids faces christmas morning, which gets more exciting every year as they get older. My mum loved christmas and loved spoiling everyone. She was so looking forward to becoming a grandmother, and unfortunately she only got one christmas with her gorgeous grandson as she passed away suddenly the following August. The way she spoilt him that first christmas was crazy!!! I, unfortunately now go a bit overboard, I think to overcompensate for not having her here to spoil them herself, but it is so worth it to see their gorgeous little faces when they wake up and see what "Santa" has left.

  5. My favourite thing about christmas use to be the food, but given that my little one is now old enough to understand, I'm sure the look of excitement on his face first thing on Christmas morning will surely be my new favourite thing..
